A Weekend in the Hamptons

This June, GUZEMA left New York City for a weekend in Southampton. We wanted to bring our jewelry beyond its usual city setting and see how it would feel in the Hamptons, where fine pieces naturally become part of an easier, more relaxed way of dressing.
The reason for the trip was our three-day pop-up with Veronica Beard. It brought us closer to the people discovering GUZEMA, gave our jewelry a new summer setting, and made the weekend feel like a shared experience for the whole team.

GUZEMA at Veronica Beard Southampton
One of the best things about seeing jewelry in person is how quickly a piece can surprise you. Sometimes it is exactly what you expected. Sometimes it is the one you had not considered that suddenly feels right.
That was part of what brought us to Southampton.

Hosted at Veronica Beard on Main Street, the pop-up felt like a natural meeting of two brands with a similar sense of style: modern, refined, and easy to make your own.
Over three days, guests came in to discover GUZEMA, revisit pieces they had already seen online, and try on designs they might not have chosen at first glance. We loved seeing what caught their attention and how often a new favorite appeared unexpectedly.

The conversations became one of the most memorable parts of the weekend. Some visitors were choosing a gift, others were marking a personal moment, and some had been following GUZEMA for a long time. Meeting them in Southampton made the experience feel especially personal.
Jewelry in the Hamptons Light
The Hamptons gave us a chance to see GUZEMA in a different rhythm. For this shoot, we paired GUZEMA pieces with Veronica Beard looks and followed the day from Main Street to the beach.
The first look played with light neutral tones and colorful stones. The second felt more casual, with textured knitwear, denim, and pieces from different collections worn together. The final look took us to the beach, where the striped cardigan created a stronger contrast against the sand, blue sky, and ocean.

Celestial Blue became the natural focus of the shoot. The combination of aquamarine and yellow gold felt especially at home in this setting, surrounded by warm sand, sunlight, water, and open sky. The stones looked brighter here, while the gold carried the warmth of the day.

Summer also gives jewelry more space. Anklets become part of the look, necklaces can be layered more freely, and rings can be stacked across the hand.

Throughout the shoot, we brought together pieces from different GUZEMA collections, including Classic, Eternal, Metamorphosis, Highlights, and Celestial Blue. We also mixed yellow and white gold across the looks, showing how naturally the two tones can be worn together.

The shoot became an example of how fine jewelry can find its place in a relaxed summer wardrobe.
It also offered a first glimpse of the GUZEMA tote — a new piece that seemed made to come along for the weekend.

A Weekend Together
Behind every pop-up is a great deal of preparation. The jewelry has to be selected and carefully packed, the displays planned, and countless details resolved before the doors open. Preparing for Southampton brought the whole team into the process and made the weekend feel shared long before we arrived.
Once we left the city, the usual rhythm of the working week changed. We had time together beyond meetings and daily routines, while everything we had prepared gradually came to life at Veronica Beard.

The days were long and full, yet the experience felt genuinely personal. Between welcoming visitors and working on the shoot, there was time to talk, laugh, and simply enjoy being somewhere new together.
GUZEMA is built by people who care deeply about what they create, and this trip made that especially visible. Each person brought something of their own to the weekend, while the sense of pride in what we were creating belonged to everyone.
Until Next Time
The Hamptons gave GUZEMA a new setting, and we loved seeing how naturally the jewelry became part of it.
Thank you to Veronica Beard for welcoming us to Southampton, and to everyone who spent part of the weekend with GUZEMA.
By the time we left, we were already looking forward to returning.
